Resources for Advent 2008 and Lent 2009 will be available this summer.

For Advent we will again offer:

o  An Advent Calendar with full color stickers - one for each day of Advent, 2008

o  A Story Book that a beginning reader can manage - one page for each day of Advent 2008

o  A booklet to help families celebrate Advent at home - following the Gospel of Mark (Cycle B) 

For Lent 2009

We will offer a booklet to help families create Lenten opportunities in their homes. The booklet will follow the readings for Lent Cycle B -- Mark plus John.

For those of you who plan ahead:

The First Sunday of Advent, 2008 is December 30, 2008

The First Sunday in Lent, 2009, is March 1, 2009

If you want to help families share their resources with people who have so much less than we do, you might want to consider offering them this free label to go around an empty soup can and hold coins the family collects.

 We can place the can on our table 
and put coins in the can -- in gratitude for our many blessings.  When the can is full, we,
can decide which agency will receive our offering for those who need our help.
